We're very grateful for all the donations that helped us pay for the desks and chairs in the classrooms!
We currently have a kitchen facility under the stairs, which is very small and yet has to serve almost 300 children and 25 teachers per day. We are very grateful for our two cooks who faithfully and lovingly provide our meals under very difficult conditions.
The children line up outside the kitchen and take their food to eat somewhere in the playground.
The washing-up is done in a provisional, primitive make-shift structure.
We would like to build a lunch hall so they can have a hygienic place to eat. The lunch hall will also be used as an assembly hall and after school it will be used by the Kitengela Christian Science Society.
